Website service
terms.

These terms explain the managed service, what is included, when the work is complete, and how hosting, domains and optional handoff work. Your Order Summary contains the project-specific agreement.

Version: 17 September 2026

The simple version

The standard product is a managed one-page website, not a sale of source code or infrastructure.

One consolidated pre-launch refinement is included.

The paid live period starts at public launch and never renews automatically.

Source handoff is a separate paid product; a standard handover of a PutUp-managed domain is included at no extra service charge.

1. Agreement and provider

These terms apply to the managed website service provided under the PutUp name (we or us). Full provider details are available in the Impressum. Contact: info@putup.online.

Every enquiry receives a reply within a couple of hours. If the project is a good fit, that reply includes a tailored offer. PutUp may still decline a project or decide that it is not a fit. A contract begins only when the customer accepts the project-specific Order Summary and completes any required payment or other stated acceptance step.

2. Managed-service model

PutUp designs, builds, hosts and manages the agreed website for the paid service period. Standard packages do not transfer source ownership, repository access, hosting-account access, deployment infrastructure or ongoing technical administration. The customer may own the domain under section 9.

The customer receives the published website service and the right to use it for the agreed period, subject to these terms. Any different arrangement must appear expressly in the Order Summary.

3. Standard scope

Unless the Order Summary states otherwise, a package includes one focused page with up to eight primary sections and up to 20 customer-supplied images, responsive implementation, hosting and SSL for the stated live period, domain setup, basic on-page SEO, one consolidated pre-launch refinement and correction of PutUp implementation errors.

Launch is €249 for up to 30 days live with no post-launch update time. Flex is €349 for up to 90 days live with two hours of post-launch content updates. Campaign is €649 for up to 180 days live with five hours of post-launch content updates.

  • Simple supporting text/image pages may be purchased separately for €79 each.
  • Ecommerce, on-site payments, bookings, accounts, dashboards, databases, custom applications, complex integrations, unlimited pages and unlimited revisions require a separate quote.

4. Start conditions and Content Pack

Production starts as soon as the customer accepts the Order Summary and terms, payment is received, the materials reasonably needed to begin are supplied, disclosed third-party costs are approved and, where required, early performance during a statutory withdrawal period is expressly requested.

The agreed text, images, logos, dates, links, goals and direction form the Content Pack. The customer is responsible for their accuracy and confirms they have the rights needed for PutUp to format, publish and host them. PutUp uses professional judgment over layout, typography, hierarchy, spacing and responsive presentation.

5. Review, refinement and completion

PutUp provides a review version after the initial build. Fast Track costs €50 and guarantees the first review version within one working day after payment and all required materials are received, unless the Order Summary states a different trigger. The customer should provide one consolidated list of reasonable, in-scope refinements within five working days. Included refinements may cover small layout or wording adjustments, supplied-image replacement, reasonable visual changes and correction of misunderstandings of the agreed direction.

A website is Complete when it materially implements the agreed Content Pack and scope, the included refinement has been applied or was not used, and the website is technically functional on supported current browsers and devices.

  • A completely different concept, new architecture, substantial replacement content, additional pages or sections, new functionality or restarting a correctly implemented design is additional paid work.
  • Completion never depends on indexing, rankings, traffic, sales, leads, enquiries, donations, attendance, tickets or conversions.

6. Launch Check and implementation errors

PutUp corrects its implementation errors, including a link or typo introduced by PutUp, an agreed item accidentally omitted, the wrong supplied image, or a display issue caused by our implementation.

A customer changing their mind, replacing content, requesting another design direction, or asking for new scope is not a defect and may be quoted as additional work.

7. Content Updates and additional work

Launch includes no post-launch content-update time. Flex includes two hours and Campaign five hours during the paid live period. Additional content or update work is €70 per hour with a €35 minimum charge. No additional work is performed or charged without approval.

Unused included update time expires with the live period and has no cash value. Simple supporting pages are €79 each. Complex development and out-of-scope changes are custom-quoted.

  • Normal Content Updates may replace text or images or change dates, schedules, locations, links, calls-to-action, sponsors or information within an existing section.

8. Hosting, extensions and takedown

The purchased live period begins when the website is publicly launched. Production and review time do not consume it. There is no automatic renewal. Hosting extensions cost €39 for up to 30 days, €89 for up to 90 days or €149 for up to 180 days, subject to the Order Summary and applicable third-party costs.

The customer can ask us to take the site offline at any time. Takedown stops public hosting; it does not by itself reverse completed design/build work, cancel earned charges or create a refund. If the paid period ends without an extension or transfer arrangement, PutUp may take the website offline.

9. Domains and third-party services

The customer may use a domain they own and control or ask PutUp to choose and manage one. For a customer-owned domain, the customer remains responsible for registration, renewal, registrar access, email and unrelated DNS issues, and must make requested DNS changes or provide only the limited temporary access needed to connect the website.

For a PutUp-managed domain, PutUp selects and registers a reasonably suitable normally priced available domain using the project information and any optional preferred words. No exact name or extension is guaranteed. At the customer's choice, the domain may be registered for the customer or handed over to the customer when the service ends; PutUp still handles the agreed setup and management during the paid service period.

  • Premium, aftermarket, unusually priced or specially requested domains are excluded unless separately agreed.
  • Replacing a registered domain may require the new registration cost and an administration charge.
  • During the paid service period, PutUp may retain the registrar and DNS access reasonably needed to deliver and manage the agreed website, including where the customer owns the domain.
  • If the customer asks to take a PutUp-managed domain at service end, PutUp will complete the standard registrar handover and provide an auth/EPP code where applicable, with no administration or handover fee from PutUp. Registrar rules, transfer locks and technical availability still apply, and any third-party registration, transfer or renewal fees remain the customer's responsibility.
  • Domain handover does not include deployment, hosting setup, email migration, DNS architecture consulting or ongoing support.
  • The customer confirms the requested project or domain name does not unlawfully infringe third-party rights. PutUp may refuse or change a name that appears infringing, deceptive or risky.
  • Third-party services such as SumUp, maps, tickets, donations, booking, social media or video remain subject to their own availability, prices and terms.

10. Ownership and Source Handoff

The customer keeps ownership of its supplied text, logos, photographs and brand material. PutUp retains its pre-existing and reusable code, components, systems, tools, methods, infrastructure and know-how. Standard packages do not transfer source-code ownership or repository access.

Source Handoff is a separate €499 product. Where applicable, PutUp supplies a ZIP containing agreed project-specific source files, redistributable project assets, a package/dependency manifest, an .env.example without real secrets, and a short README with known runtime and build information.

  • The handoff never includes real secrets, API or SumUp credentials, registrar or server credentials, internal repositories, unrelated reusable code, non-redistributable licensed assets, deployment, migration or post-delivery technical support.
  • The customer receives a perpetual right to use and modify the delivered project-specific source, subject to open-source and third-party licences. PutUp does not promise exclusive ownership of every component or that the project will run in the customer's chosen environment.

11. Approvals and project delays

Information, approvals and change requests should be provided in writing through the agreed channel. Verbal discussions change scope only when confirmed in writing.

If the customer does not respond for 14 consecutive days, PutUp may pause the project. After 30 days of inactivity, PutUp may close it. Reopening, where possible, is additional work. After 90 days, PutUp does not guarantee that reserved capacity, files or domain options remain available.

12. Payment, cancellation and refunds

Package prices are normally payable before production. Approved extras may be prepaid or invoiced separately. Accepted methods are SumUp card payment, bank transfer and cash. Card processing stays on SumUp infrastructure and PutUp does not store full card details.

Before work starts, PutUp refunds amounts not yet earned or performed, less disclosed non-recoverable third-party costs. After work starts, completed work and non-recoverable costs remain chargeable to the extent allowed by law. After full performance, there is no discretionary refund merely because the customer no longer needs the site. Early takedown does not automatically refund unused hosting. Defect remedies and mandatory rights remain unaffected.

13. Consumer withdrawal rights

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights. A consumer entering a distance contract may have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right. The applicable Order Summary or durable confirmation provides the required withdrawal information.

If a consumer expressly asks PutUp to begin during that period, the consumer may owe a proportionate amount for service already performed where law allows. The right may end after full performance only where the required prior consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.

14. Acceptable use, refusal and suspension

The customer must not use the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, harmful or insecure material or activity. PutUp may decline an enquiry, refuse content or functionality, or suspend affected work or hosting where reasonably necessary for law, safety, security, third-party rules, non-payment or material breach.

PutUp may choose not to provide an offer or accept a project. Where a contract already exists, any suspension or termination remains subject to that agreement and applicable law.

15. Responsibility and no-results guarantee

PutUp uses reasonable professional care but does not guarantee uninterrupted third-party infrastructure or any search ranking, Google indexing, traffic, sales, leads, enquiries, donations, attendance, ticket sales or conversion result.

To the extent permitted by law, PutUp is not responsible for inaccurate customer material, claims arising from customer material, customer-controlled accounts or domains, third-party service failures or changes, internet failures, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited.

16. Basic SEO scope

Basic on-page SEO means reasonable page titles, descriptions, heading structure and indexable technical markup for the agreed page. It does not include ongoing SEO work, link building, keyword campaigns, search-engine submission promises, analytics reporting or ranking guarantees unless the Order Summary expressly includes them.

17. Portfolio and confidentiality

After public launch, PutUp may show publicly available portions of the work in its portfolio. A customer needing confidentiality should request and agree an opt-out before publication. Confidential or embargoed material identified in writing will be handled according to the Order Summary.

18. Complaints and disputes

Written complaints may be sent to info@putup.online. Consumer complaints will receive a written response no later than 15 days after receipt, as required by Croatian consumer law.

The parties should first try to resolve a dispute directly. Available statutory, regulatory, alternative-dispute and court routes remain unaffected.

19. Governing law and final provisions

These terms are governed by the law identified in the Impressum, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer. If one provision is unenforceable, the others continue as far as law permits.

The Order Summary, these terms and written changes accepted by both parties form the agreement. PutUp may update general terms for future orders; an active order changes only by agreement or where law requires.

Questions about these terms or a project-specific Order Summary can be sent to info@putup.online.
